Document Requirements for Design Application

Mandatory Documents:

· identification data of the applicant, full business name or full name, registered office address; if you are already the owner of another EU design and therefore have been assigned an ID, just provide this six-digit number, with which we will read the data from the registry.

· images of the design in good resolution, preferably in jpg or pdf.

· name of the author who created the design (or names of several co-authors) or if we do not want the author to be listed in the application, we can state that the author waives his/her right to be listed in the application.

Non-Essential but Suitable Documents:

· name of the design; it is suitable for you to provide us with the name - especially if the name is not clear from the images, for example "vacuum cleaner filter". If the name is clear from the images - for example "clothing", we will assign the name ourselves

· a brief description of the design, max 100 words after translation into English; in the description you can point out the details you want to emphasize, for example, that the shape of the zippers on the clothes is new and important or that the shape of the door handle is new, etc.
